Nereus Joubert is an international trade analyst with Georgetown Economic Services (GES). He provides economic and quantitative support involving qualitative and quantitative analysis of price and cost data, financial and statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling.
Before joining GES, he worked as a quantitative trade analyst at a consulting firm in Washington, D.C. where he provided support on Department of Commerce anti-dumping and U.S. International Trade Commission injury proceedings. Nereus created company sales and costs databases, advised clients on pricing, and analyzed import statistics.
Nereus received his MSc. in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington in 2016, his Master of Management from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in 2013, and his BSc, cum laude in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Stellenbosch in 2011.
